Sue Jardine, Owner, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Sue Jardine is a wife, mother, animal lover, caregiver, and adventurer. Sue is originally from Salt Lake City and moved to Meridian, Idaho to be closer to family. She has been in healthcare since 1996 when she received her CNA (certified nursing assistant) certification in her senior year of high school. She graduated from Westminster College in 2005 with her BSN. Sue Jardine always knew graduate school was on the horizon. Life settled down and she met Brian, the love of her life, in 2009. He has always supported her dreams of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Brian and Sue are excited to start their new journey, the opening of Bella Family Healthcare.

Sue is grateful for the opportunity to enhance lives within the Treasure Valley with her medical services. She believes in evaluating and treating the entire patient, all aspects of physical and mental health. Sue will take the time to listen to each patient prior to her assessment and workup. If she does not know the answer, she will research to find it. Continuing education is very important to Sue as well as practicing Evidenced Based Medicine that is current. There is a place for an alternative, Eastern Medicine that Sue likes to discuss as practicing in-between Eastern and Western Medicine is a perfect balance.

Cassie Duncan, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Cassie is an Idaho native, born and raised in Meridian. Cassie has over seventeen years of healthcare experience.  Twelve of those last years, she has been working in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room as a registered nurse.  Cassie first obtained her nursing degree from Boise State University. Seeing multiple patients come into the emergency room and leave knowing they do not have a provider they can rely on encouraged her to obtain her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.  Cassie strives to make sure her patients know that she cares, is compassionate to each person’s individual needs, and there for them when they need her.  Cassie believes that the long-lasting relationships that you build with your provider will be the most beneficial to her patients with good overall health and longevity.  Cassie enjoys caring for families and friends of all ages and enjoys collaborating with other providers to provide the best evidence-based care.

When Cassie is not working, you can find her at a baseball field watching her son, and gymnastics meets cheering her daughter on or at home with her husband tending to their small family farm. Cassie also enjoys camping, hiking, and enjoying everything Idaho has to offer.

Jayson Smith, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Jayson Smith is a father, husband, brother, board game enthusiasts, poet, writer, swing dancer, and nature lover. He enjoys raising his four children with his beautiful wife, Brittanie in Idaho near great family and friends. As a young teenager, his parents moved their family of 8 boys from the central valley of California to Idaho in 1994 knowing that it would be ideal for teaching family values, and a healthier living environment. Since then, he has seen the amazing and wonderful growth that has happened in the Treasure Valley.

Jayson has always been passionate about caring for others and healthcare. But, he did not realize his calling as a nurse practitioner until he met Brittanie at a church swing dance, while she was attending nursing school. They both graduated with their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College. While Brittanie became an expert Labor and Delivery nurse, Jayson went on to become elitely certified as a medical-surgical nurse and a rehabilitation nurse caring for traumatic brain injuries. Jayson has served the community on medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and intensive care units as a registered nurse throughout many parts of the Treasure Valley.

Following the death of both of his parents in 2017 to cancer, Jayson knew that it was time to complete his life goal of being an advanced practice provider. He graduated from Walden University with a Master’s of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Jayson’s philosophy of healing is rooted in the belief in self-empowerment. As a provider, he connects his patients to the knowledge and resources needed to make and carry out better health-conscious choices. His mother once taught that disease is simply a state of dis-ease, an absence of ease. Through a balanced holistic approach found through the science of medicine and the art of nurse philosophies, Jayson is able to treat disease and bring the strength of health and peace back to his patients’ lives. Thus, he allows them to make self-empowered choices that are uninhibited by the sense of dis-ease and pain.
