Kimmie is new to the Bella Family Healthcare team, but is excited for the adventure! She was born and raised in Idaho but has lived in other interesting places, including Southern California (which she did not care for) and Hawaii (which she loved). She discovered she had a talent and passion for healthcare almost by accident, but since then has filled a variety of roles in areas ranging from Emergency Medicine, to Dermatology, to Pediatrics. She loves the mental challenge healthcare provides as well as the opportunities to do something, no matter how small, to make a patient’s life better and brighter.
Kimmie is insatiably curious and loves learning new things, which is reflected in her eclectic array of interests. In her free time, you’ll find her camping or crafting, occasionally at the same time, or reading about fascinating subjects like French food or Native American Law. More than anything, she enjoys spending time with her ridiculously amazing husband, who luckily still thinks her quirks are cute.
Laura, Medical Assistant
Laura’s professional career started in Corporate Relocation where she did marketing. After September 11th, Laura knew she wanted a career that involved helping others. She obtained her Nursing Assistant Certification in 2002. While working as a CNA in 2003, she went back to school and earned her Associates of Science in Medical Assisting. She worked with Kaiser Permanente where she floated all departments to learn as much as she could. Her favorites included the ER, minor surgery, dermatology and family care. She loves caring for patients of all ages.
In 2017, Laura met Sue working in Urgent Care. When Sue opened Bella Family Healthcare, Laura knew she had to be a part of it. Both had the same values on ethics and patient care, and want patients to receive the best treatment in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Laura is a wife to Chris and the mother of 2 children, Julia and Nathan. Together they loved the great outdoors with activities like hunting, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and horseback riding. She is a farm girl at heart. Her passion is cooking and canning foods from her garden. Their family also consists of 3 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats that keep them happy!
